Alvarez, Mounties Top Drury
STAMFORD, Vt. -- Mount Greylock senior Kyle Alvarez carded a 1-over-par 37 on Tuesday to lead the Mounties to a 161-189 win over Drury at Stamford Valley Golf Course.
Alvarez finished his day with a birdie on the par-4 ninth hole.
He was backed up by Ben Gilooly and Hunter Sarkis, who each carded a 41, and Bennett Zimmerman with a 42. All six Mounties broke 50 on the day.
Jude Collins was low for Drury (2-9) with 45, followed closely by Justyn Cowell and Ryan Dubie at 46 apiece.
Mount Greylock (6-3) goes to Lee on Thursday.
