Mounties Run at Coaches Association Invitational

ACTON, Mass. -- Mount Greylock’s Margo Smith finished 12th in the mile and 14th in the two-mile run at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Invitational on Saturday at Acton-Boxboro High School.

 

Smith ran a time of 5 minutes, 49.64 seconds in the mile. She was joined by teammate Miriam Bakija, who placed 17th. In the 3200 meters, Smith ran a time of 12:00.38.

 

Mount Greylock’s top finisher in the girls meet was Ella Dudley, who placed 11th in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:09.57.

 

The Mounties’ two-mile relay quartet of Bakija, Melissa Swann, Smith and Mae Burris-Wells placed 12th in 11:24.
