Mount Greylock's Pelletier Reaches Quarters at New Englands

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Mount Greylock junior Devin Pelletier on Friday advanced to the quarterfinals of the 160-pound weight class at the New England Wrestling Championships.

Pellietier won his first match of the day with a first-period pin of Concord, N.H.’s, Cal MacKenzie.

 

He then faced off against Somers, Conn.’s, Jacob Berry Parker in the round of 16, where Pelletier prevailed in overtime.

 

On Saturday morning, Pelletier faces Somerset’s Austin Cooley for a berth in the semifinals.
