QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- Mount Greylock's Margo Smith finished 15th in Saturday's Queensbury Inviational.

Smith covered the 5,000-meter course in 19 minutes, 31 seconds in an event dominated by national powerhouse Saratoga Springs.

Saratoga's Kelsey Chmiel won in 17:27, more than half a minute ahead of runner up Diana Vizza of North Shore Long Island.

Chmiel's Blue Streaks teammates placed six more finishers in the top 11 spots.

Saratoga Springs was ranked second in the nation this summer in a preseason coaches poll.

Mount Greylock placed a nice pack of four runners in the middle of the 101-girl field. Niku Darafshi, Ellie Williams, Anya Sheldon and Bella Bolte scored to help Mount Greylock finish 10th out of 14 schools.
