Gilooly Records Eagle, Mounties Bounce Back

LEE, Mass. -- Mount Greylock's Ben Gilooly eagled the 372-yard, par-4 eighth hole at Greenock Country Club on Thursday to highlight the Mounties' 167-178 win over Lee.
 
Gilooly finished with a 7-over round of 42.
 
His eagle came from about 80 yards away from the pin. Gilooly hit his approach over a stand of trees and into the hole.
 
The Mounties' Ben Wiseman earned medalist honors with a 3-over 38, edging Lee's Devyn Olds, who carded a 39.
 
Also scoring for Mount Greylock were Kyle Alverez (42) and Bennett Zimmerman (45), who birdied the 307-yard, par 4 fourth hole.
 
Scoring for Lee were Thomas Fraser (44), Bryce Whalen (45) and Hunter Roosa (50).
 
Mount Greylock (6-1), which bounced back from its first loss of the season, travels to Dalton to face Wahconah on Monday, when Lee hosts Lenox.
