Mount Greylock Downs Lee in Season Finale

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Jacob Hillman and Will Svrluga each carded a 39 on Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 175-186 win over Lee at Waubeeka Golf Links.

 

The pair shared medalist honors with Lee’s Joey Abderhalden.

 

Each of the medialists recorded at least one birdie in the final regular season match for both teams.

 

Svrluga birdied the sixth and ninth holes, both par 4s. Hillman birdied the par-4 fifth hole. Abderhalden broke par on the 487-yard, par-5 eighth hole.

 

Lee (7-7) will play at Wahconah Country Club on Tuesday in the Western Massachusetts Division 3 Championships.

 

Mount Greylock (9-5) will stay close to home to play the Western Mass D2 Championships at Taconic Golf Club.
