Mount Greylock Golfers Open with Win at Home

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Jacob Hillman shared medalist honors Wednesday and led the Mount Greylock golf team to a 190-235 win over Hoosac Valley at Waubeeka Golf Links in the season opener for both teams.
 
Hillman and the Hurricanes’ Zach Mongeon each carded a 40 on the front nine for the day’s best rounds.
 
Mount Greylock also got scores in the 40s from Wil Svrluga and Max Easton to back up Hillman.
 
The Mounties (1-0) are at Wahconah on Friday.
 
Hoosac Valley (0-1) will look for its first win on Thursday at Berkshire Hills against Taconic.
