SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Tiffany Gonzales and Molly Karampatsos came from behind to grind out a three-set victory and complete a 5-0 sweep for the Mount Greylock girls tennis team on Friday at Springfield International Charter School.

Gonzales and Karampatsos dropped the first set before rallying to force a third and took an 11-9 pro set win for their first career win at second doubles.

The Mounties' first doubles team did not drop a game in earning their win, and Mount Greylock's girls picked up three straight-set wins in singles.

In Friday's boys match, Mount Greylock got singles wins from Oscar Heeringa and Max Wied at Nos. 1 and 2, respectively, and swept doubles play to top the Bulldogs.

Both Mount Greylock squads improved to 2-0 this spring heading into Wednesday's home opener against Monument Mountain.
