PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Owen Petropulos carded a 2-over-par 37 on the front nine at Berkshire Hills Country Club Monday to lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 166-178 win over Taconic in the regular season finale for both teams.

The win gave the Mounties a share of the Berkshire County League title with Wahconah as both teams finish at 13-1; they split the home and home but will play in the same field next week at the Western Massachusetts Division 2 Championships at Agawams’s Crestview Country Club.

On Monday, Petropulos birdied the par-4 eighth hole on his way to the only score in the 30s for either team.

His teammate, Max Wied, picked up a birdie on the par-3 third hole.

Taconic was led by Cam LaFerriere and Mitch Hall, who each finished at 43.

“Not our best day today, especially following up our best round of the season on Thursday, but we top our caps to Mount Greylock,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “They have had a great season and are a very good team. 178 is a decent score and would win some matches, just not today against Greylock. Now we have some time to regroup before we play in the Division 1 Western Mass tournament at Westover.”

Mount Greylock (166): Owen Petropulos 37; Tommy Art 44; Ben Dingman 44; Jacob Hillman 41; Will Svrluga 44; Max Wied 50.

Taconic (178): Cam Laferriere 43; Ayden Anderson 52; Mitch Hall 43; Cam Harrington 48; Jason Fields 50; Brayden Bishop 44.
