Mount Greylock Volleyball Sweeps Belchertown

BELCHERTOWN, Mass. – Celina Savage recorded 11 kills Wednesday to lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Belchertown in the Mounties’ season opener.

 

Kylie Sweren and Charlotte Coody passed out 18 and 16 assists, respectively, as Mount Greylock prevailed, 25-19, 25-12, 25-6.

 

Sweren added six aces and four kills, and Coody had eight kills in the win.

 

Julie DeChaine had six kills, and Jackie Brannan recorded five aces.

 

Mount Greylock (1-0) hosts Easthampton on Friday.
