Mount Greylock Tops Mount Everett in Western Mass Quarters
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Celina Savage had 11 kills Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Mount Everett in the quarter-finals of the Class D Western Massachusetts tournament.
Savage had four aces and a block for the Mounties in the 25-11, 25-5, 25-9 win.
Takiera Darrow had seven kills, eight digs and four aces. Charlotte Coody recorded six kills and served three aces, and Talia Kapiloff served five aces.
Mount Greylock Thursday hosts Turners Falls, a 3-0 winner over Mohawk Trail on Tuesday.
