Darrow Goes on the Attack to Lead Mounties to Road Win
EASTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Takiera Darrow delivered six kills Monday to spark the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a four-set win over Easthampton.
Darrow also had 27 digs and three aces in a 22-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-16 win.
Darrow, who missed five matches due to a sprained ankle, had been working her way back into the lineup at libero.
She started Monday in that defensive position but switched back to her customary outside attacker in the fourth set to spur the Mounties to victory.
Charlotte Coodey had nine aces and five kills to go with 12 digs.
Lainey Gill pulled up 12 digs and served three aces.
Mount Greylock (13-2) hosts East Longmeadow on Wednesday.
