Axt Leads Mount Greylock Golfers Past Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Alexander Axt Friday carded a 2-over-par 37 to earn medalist honors and lead the Mount Greylock golf team to a 161-195 win over Taconic at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Right behind Axt was Owen Petropolus, who birdied the par-5 fourth hole. Ben Dingman also had a birdie -- on the par-3 third hole -- en route to a 43; Thomas Art also scored for the Mounties with a 43.

 

Nate Murphy finished at 42 to lead Taconic, which scored rounds from Cam LaFerriere (50), Jackson Molleur (51) and Camdyn McKillop and Mat Sottile, who each finished at 52.

 

The top individuals in Berkshire County are at Berkshire Hills on Sunday for the Berkshire Classic.
