Mount Greylock Girls Tennis Tops Monument Mountain

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Mount Greylock girls tennis team Wednesday swept doubles play to earn a 4-1 win over Monument Mountain.

 

Izzye Leonard and Olivia Winters took a 6-4, 6-1 win from Eve McDougall and Sam Gowdey at first doubles.

 

At No. 2 doubles, Mai O’Connor and Charlotte Holubar defeated Kyla Floyd and Emily Gowdey, 6-2, 6-3.

 

The Spartans earned their point at first singles, where MIkayla Wax topped Mia Van Deurzen, 6-2, 6-4.

 

Mount Greylock’s Hannah Gilooly beat Isa DeFelice, 6-2, 6-1, at second singles. Charlotte Sanford earned a 6-1, 6-2 win from Monument Mountain’s Marti Cunningham at No. 3 singles.
