Mount Greylock Girls, Pittsfield Boys Earn Wins
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Elizabeth Dupras won four events Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock girls track and field team to a dual meet win over Pittsfield.
In the boys meet, Emmanuel Nda and Kieran Coscia each won twice to lead the Generals past the Mounties.
Dupras swept the hurdles and took the 200 meters by .74 seconds ahead of the Generals’ Randi Duquette. In the field, Dupras leapt 15 feet, 9 inches to win the long jump.
Dupras’ teammate Jacqueline Wells accounted for 15 points by winning the 800 meters, the high jump and the triple jump.
Lily Catelotti and Grace Malone each won a pair of events for the Mounties, who won the team competition, 110-31.
Catelotti took the discus and the shot put. Malone won the mile and the 3200 meters.
Pittsfield’s boys earned a 91-50 win in their meet.
Nda took the 100 and the 200, both times edging Catelotti.
Coscia took the discus and the shot put and placed second to teammate Connor Hayford in the javelin.
Mount Greylock’s boys got a pair of wins from Cedric Lemaire, who took the 400 meters and the long jump.
