Mount Greylock Volleyball Tops Lenox in Straight Sets

LENOX, Mass. -- Takeira Darrow recorded 11 kills Saturday lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Lenox.

 

Darrow also pulled up nine digs for the Mounties, who won by scores of 25-11, 25-21 and 25-23.

 

Emma Hayward had a team-high 17 digs and recorded six aces for the Mounties, who got five blocks and five kills from Jackie Brannan.

 

Lenox's Mia Giardina had seven kills and three aces to go with 24 digs. Carolina Chassi had 23 digs, and Ella Smith had 11 digs and three kills for the Millionaires.

 

On Monday, Mount Greylock hosts Lee while Lenox goes to Wahconah.
