Mount Greylock Volleyball Tops Taconic in Three Sets

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Lucy Shepard had 12 kills Monday to lead the Mount Greylock volleyball team to a three-set win over Taconic.

 

Shepard also had six digs for the Mounties, who won, 25-9, 25-13, 25-22.

 

Gabby Alvarez had 22 assists to go with seven aces and a pair of digs, and Emma Sandstrom had six kills for the Mounties.

 

Taconic’s Jenyka Ostellino had 13 digs. Julianna Huxtable had four kills and a pair of digs, and Tori Tynan had four assists, three aces and two kills.

 

Taconic goes to Wahconah on Thursday. Mount Greylock hosts Mount Anthony on Friday.
