Mount Greylock Lacrosse Posts Monster First Quarter

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Mount Greylock boys lacrosse team scored 19 first-quarter goals on Saturday en route to a 22-3 win over Monson on John T. Allen Field.

 

Michael McCormack scored eight goals, and Matt Malloy had a hat trick for the Mounties, who remained unbeaten in Massachusetts.

 

Cole Hughes, Alejandro Viqes-Salas, Ian Culnane and Ross Burnham each scored a pair of goals.

 

Cal Filson and Pat Storie combined to stop three shots.

 

Mount Greylock (9-1) travels to face St. Joseph on Monday.
