Wahconah Volleyball Tops Pittsfield in Straight Sets

DALTON, Mass. -- Francesca Gigliotti had 21 assists and recorded four aces on Friday to lead the Wahconah volleyball team to a 25-18, 25-8, 25-13 win over Pittsfield.

 

Emma Parkington had a strong match at the net with nine kills and three blocks. Laiken Cornwell-L’Hote had six aces, four kills and four digs, and Kelsey LaFreniere had nine kills to go with four aces.

 

Pittsfield got six assists from Brenna Brickle and five kills apiece from Danielle LaBlanc and Anna Quinto.

 

Wahconah hosts Westfield on Saturday afternoon. Pittsfield goes to Bennington, Vt., to face Mount Anthony on Monday.
