Francese Leads Wahconah Girls Lacrosse to Win

DALTON, Mass. -- Morgan Francese scored four goals to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to help the Wahconah girls lacrosse team stay unbeaten with a 15-4 win over Pittsfield on Friday afternoon.

 

Paige Chiaretta scored three times, and Jordan Budaj had two goals and assist for the Wahconah-McCann cooperative team.

 

Angela Colson scored twice, and Lily Howes, Shaina Farrell and Catherine Fusini each had a goal, and Liz Culpepper and Katie Bachli combined for five saves in the win.

 

For Pittsfield, Makenzie Astore scored three times, and Shea Hassett and Maria Giacoletto each added a goal. Haley Milne stopped 11 shots for the Generals.

 

Wahconah (3-0-1) hosts Holyoke Catholic on Tuesday.
