Nate Dos Santos Leads Wahconah Golfers in Regular Season Finale

DALTON, Mass. -- Nate Dos Santos Wednesday carded a 2-over-par round of 35 on the front nine at Wahconah Country Club to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 160-223 win over Drury.

 

Colette Basiliere carded a 38, and Jon Dos Santos finished at 39 for Wahconah (10-5) in its season finale.

 

“It was nice to finish on a positive note shooting 160,” Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. “Nate, Jon and Colette played steady today and showed why we have as good a chance as anyone in the field come Western Mass the 24th.

 

“When those three are on, we can shoot some real solid numbers.”

 

Victoria Orlandi scored in the win with a 46 that included a birdie on the par-3 second hole.

 

Justyn Cowell and Connor Kelly each carded a 49 for Drury, which travels to PIttsfield to face Taconic on Tuesday.
