New Lebanon Tops Wahconah Swimmers at Pittsfield YMCA
PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- New Lebanon, N.Y., won the 400 freestyle relay help secure a narrow 87-80 win over the Wahconah girls swimming team on Friday afternoon at the Pittsfield YMCA.
Michaela DeFoe and Annalise Cramer were double winners for Wahconah.
DeFoe won the 50-yard freestyle in 30.5 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:20.2. Cramer won the 200 free (2:51.4) and the 500 free (6:18.6).
New Lebanon's Gigi French won the 200 individual medley and the 100 breast stroke and swam the opening leg on the 400 free relay.
In the boys meet, Wahconah's Noah Cramer won the 200 IM (2:56.4) and the 100 free (1:07.8), but New Lebanon prevailed, 40-22.
Wahconah travels to Taconic Hills on Tuesday.
