Wahconah Golfers Top Mount Everett
DALTON, Mass. -- The Wahconah golf team defeated Mount Everett, 172-221, Tuesday afternoon at Wahconah Country Club in Dalton.
Jon Dos Santos of Wahconah earned medalist honors with a low of 41, he had two birdies for the afternoon.
Gage Frazier (42) had one birdie, and Andrew Beaudoin (43) and Tom Gonzales (46) each scored for Wahconah.
"We have five seniors, Mount Everett is very young," Wahconah coach Pat Terpak said. "Our drives were much stronger."
Sean Smith had a team low of 52 for the Eagles.
Wahconah hosts Taconic Wednesday afternoon at 3:30, and Mount Everett hosts Taconic Friday.
