Wahconah Boys Secure League Title in Win over New Lebanon

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Artois Sancho won a pair of events Wednesday to lead the Wahconah boys swim team to a 101-66 win over New Lebanon that clinched the Berkshire County South Division Championship.

 

Sancho won the 50-meter freestyle and 100 butterfly at the co-ed meet.

 

He also swam the anchor leg in Wahconah’s 200 free relay quartet that edged the Tigers by one one-hundredth of a second.

 

Ella Reardon and Victoria Lattizzori each won an event for the Wahconah girls, who clinched at least a share of the league title with one dual meet remaining on the schedule, Friday at Taconic Hills.

 

For New Lebanon, George Lamphere-Webster (200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke) and Lance Schroder (200 free and 100 free) each won a pair of events.
