DALTON, Mass. -- Tim Kaley finished at even-par 35 on Friday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 162-199 win over Lee on the front nine at Wahconah Country Club.

Kaley birdied the par-4 fifth hole and par-4 eighth to help his team stay unbeaten on the season.

"The greens were tough today," Wahconah coach Pete Terpak said. "Many prominent clubs in the county went through greens aerification this week, Wahconah included.

"Scores were higher than normal, but one player who was unaffected by the greens was Tim Kaley."

Sam McLaughlin birdied the third hole on his way to a round of 40 as all four Wahconah scorers finished within nine strokes of par.

For Lee, Joey Abderhalden led the way with a round of 40 that included a birdie on No. 5.

Wahconah (3-0) is at Hoosac Valley on Monday.
