Wahconah Girls Open with Win at Taconic Hills

CRARYVILLE, N.Y. – Ella Reardon won two events Friday to lead the Wahconah girls swim team to a narrow 86-80 win over Taconic Hills.

 

The season-opening victory marked Wahconah’s first ever win over the Titans in their pool, according to Wahconah coach Steve Kolis.

 

Reardon won the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 freestyle.

 

Wahconah also got individual wins from Kaylee Prew and Victoria Lattizzori in the 200 free and 50 free, respectively.

 

Wahconah’s boys picked up a 64-12 win over an undermanned Taconic Hills side.

 

Logan Kunde won the 200 free and 500 free. Artois Sancho took the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly.

 

Wahconah hosts New Lebanon, N.Y., next Friday.
