Wahconah Boys, Girls Swimming Dominate Hudson

HUDSON, N.Y. -- Ellie Field and Noah Schweitzer swam Western Massachusetts qualifying times Tuesday as the Wahconah boys and girls emerged victorious in their first trip to the newest member of the Berkshire County League.

 

Field qualified in the 50-yard freestyle and 500 free to lead Wahconah’s girls to a 103-29 win.

 

On the boys side, Schweitzer qualified in the 500 as Wahconah earned a 136-7 victory.

 

Hudson joined the league this year after the cooperative team previously hosted by St. Joseph Central School was folded into the Wahconah squad. The Berkshire County League now has four members outside Massachusetts: Taconic Hills, Hudson and New Lebanon in New York and Bennington, Vt.,’s Mount Anthony.
