Sniezek Leads Hoosac Valley Golfers Past Wahconah

ADAMS, Mass. -- Henry Sniezek carded a 39 Thursday to win medalist honors and lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 173-192 win over Wahconah at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Sniezek’s round included a birdie on the 314-yard, par-4 seventh hole.

 

Corben Craig finished at 42, and Derek Alibozek and Colby Rougeau each carded a 46 to round out the scoring for the Hurricanes, who bounced back after suffering their first loss of the season on Tuesday.

 

Nate Dos Santos just missed the medal for Wahconah with a round of 40. Isaac Anello finished at 48, and Daniel Wilson (50) and John-Michael Kowalcyk (54) scored for the visitors.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Lenox on Friday. Wahconah hosts Pittsfield on Tuesday.
