Hoosac Valley Tops Lee

ADAMS, Mass. – Frank Field carded a 40 on Thursday to lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 169-192 win over Lee.

 

The Wildcats’ Joey Abderhalden finished at 4-over-par 38 at Forest Park Country Club to earn medalist honors.

 

Abderhalden birdied the par-3 fifth hole and the par-4 seventh.

 

Hoosac Valley’s Field was backed up by Nick Pompi (42), Gabe Bishop (43) and Corey Charron (44).

 

“Another good day on our home course,” Hoosac Valley coach Jay Sniezek said.” Hats off to Joey Abderhalden from Lee in his 38.  Our scores are slowly improving and I am confident we will keep moving in the right direction.”

 

The Hurricanes (4-2) travels to face Wahconah on Monday.

 

Lee (0-5) hosts Wahconah on Friday.
