Hoosac Harriers Compete at Hampshire College

AMHERST, Mass. -- Hoosac Valley's Justin Levesque placed 23rd on Saturday at the Amherst Invitational at Hampshire College.

 

Levesque covered the 5-kilometer course in 17 minutes, 49 seconds.

 

The winner, Keene, N.H.'s, Torin Kindopp, finished in 16:01.

 

Levesque's teammate Joey McGovern crossed the line in 21:06, good for 68th place in a field of 81 finishers.

 

Four Hoosac Valley girls competed in a 5K won by Nashoba Regional's Caroline Collins in 19:09.

 

Hurricanes Hannah Walsh (25:57) and Alyssa Garabedian (26:18) finished 53rd and 54th, respectively.

 

Taylor Garabedian and Jennifer Prokopowicz also competed for Hoosac Valley.
