Hoosac Valley Golfers Top Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Henry Sniezek carded a 39 Wednesday to earn medalist honors and lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 176-184 win over Taconic at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Sniezek got off to a strong start with a birdie on the par-5 second hole.

 

Colby Rougeau (43), Corben Craig (46) and Justyn Cowell (48) rounded out the scoring for the Hurricanes.

 

Nick Slocik and Nate Murphy led Taconic, each recording a birdie on his way to a score of 42.

 

James Kastrinakis (49) and Andrew King (51) each scored for Taconic, which hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday.

 

Hoosac Valley is at Pittsfield on Thursday.
