Sniezek, Alibozek Lead Hoosac Valley Golfers to Win over Wahconah

ADAMS, Mass. -- Henry Sniezek carded a 37 to earn medalist honors Tuesday and lead the Hoosac Valley golf team to a 161-200 win over Wahconah at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Sniezek birdied the 147-yard, par-3 fifth hole on his way to a 3-over-par round that nipped his teammate Derek Alibozek (38). Alibozek ended his day by birdying the 277-yard, par-4 ninth hole.

 

Hayden Grimes (41) and Luc Trombley (45) also scored for Hoosac Valley.

 

Daniel Wilson led Wahconah with a 44, and Emily Figiela carded a 47.

 

Hoosac Valley hosts Mount Greylock on Thursday while Wahconah goes to Pittsfield.
