Genaway Leads Wahconah Girls Past Hoosac

CHESHIRE, Mass. — Perin Genaway had a hat trick and three players registered two goals apiece to lead the Wahconah girls lacrosse team to a 14-5 win over Hoosac Valley on Friday.

 

Shaina Farrell, Emmy Cote and Jordan Budaj each scored twice for the visitors, who got nine saves from the goaltending tandem of Katie Bachli and Michaela DeFoe.

 

For Hoosac, Haley Carden and Allie Mendel each scored a pair of goals, and Kelsey Holsey made 10 saves.
