Taconic Golfers Edge Wahconah at Berkshire Hills

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Mike Kays and Connor Champoux each carded a 41 on Tuesday to lead the Taconic golf team to a one-stroke victory over Wahconah at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Tim Curry (45) and Ross Omelenchuck (48) also scored for Taconic, which prevailed, 175-176.

 

Kays, Omelenchuck and Champoux each turned in a birdie in his round.

 

Medalist Jon Dos Santos of Wahconah also birdied on his way to a low round of 39. Vinnie Orlandi, Colette Basilere and Nate Dos Santos each scored. Five of Wahconah’s six players finished between 45 and 47.

 

Wahconah goes to Pittsfield next Tuesday, when Taconic hosts Mount Greylock.
