Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa, N.Y., Tops Taconic Icers

BURNT HILLS, N.Y. — Santino Benamati and Dominik Monterroso scored three goals apiece to lead the Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa hockey team to a 12-5 win over Taconic on Friday night.

 

Brandon Peaslee and Kevin Quinto scored two goals apiece, and Brian Henault scored a goal for Taconic, which played with a short bench two days after it had to reschedule a game at Wahconah because of a flu bug.

 

Taconic will host Wahconah on Feb. 13 at the Boys and Girls Club.
