Chicopee Ices Taconic

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Chicopee scored six times in the second period on the way to an 11-5 win over Taconic on Saturday at Smead Arena.

 

Niko Gian scored twice, Brian Henallt had a goal and an assist, and Kevin Quinto recorded two assists for Taconic, which also got a goal apiece from Aiden Kotski and Steve Poripsky.

 

Taconic (0-3) plays West Springfield on Sunday in the consolation game of the Chiopee Winter Classic.
