Taconic Golfers Earn Western Mass Bid

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- The Taconic golf team sealed a spot in the Division 1 Western Massachusetts Tournament Wednesday afternoon with a 175-188 win over Wahconah.

 

Taconic's Brett Murphy was the medalist with a score of 41.

 

His teammates Ross Omelenchuck and Mike Kaye's placed with scores of 43 and Tim Curry scored a 48.

 

For Wahconah, Colette Basiliene had a team low score of 46.

 

Taconic finishes its season 8-8 and will prepare for the tournament which begins Monday.
