Conant Hat Trick, Rookie's First Goal Highlight Big Night for Taconic

GREENFIELD, Mass. -- The Taconic boys hockey team defeated Greenfield Friday evening, 14-3.

 

Taconic was down in the first period 1-0, but came out in the second and scored six goals.

 

Taconic's Connor Conant had a hat trick and two assists, Kevin Quinto had two goals, Brandon Peaslee had two, and Brian Henault had two, Harrison Rapant had one, along with, Kyle Crocker, Andy Cella, Steven Poripski, and Hunter Phair, who debuted in his first varsity game this evening.

 

Taconic goal Mike Schopp recorded 10 saves and backup goalie Patrick Rice, who played in the last eight minutes made six saves and allowed one goal.
