Taconic Girls Swim Past New Lebanon

Taconic's Olivia Bordeau won two events to lead her team to a 56-36 win over New Lebanon on Friday.

 

Bordeau won the 200-yard freestyle (2 minutes, 36.27 seconds) and the 100 backstroke (1:22.82) and swam legs on Taconic's winning 200 medley relay and 400 free relay quartets.

 

Taconic also picked up wins from Gillian Campbell (50 free), Spring Hajjar (100 free) and Alexis Huxtable (500 free).

 

New Lebanon's Gigi French won two events, the 200 individual medley and 100 breast stroke.

 

New Lebanon's boys defeated Taconic, 28-19.

 

Evan Burgess won the 100 freestyle and swam on two uncontested relays for New Lebanon.

 

For Taconic, Kyle Rochelo won the 500 free (6:06.33) and 100 breast (1:20.89), respectively.
