Taconic Hockey Ties South Hadley

 

PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Harrison Rapant and Connor Conant each had a goal and an assist as Taconic played a back-and-forth game that ended in a 3-3 tie against South Hadley on Wednesday night.

 

After a scoreless first period, South Hadley struck first early in the second, but Rapant answered with a goal assisted by Conant.

 

After another South Hadley goal, Conant scored with help from Rapant and Brian Henault to make it 2-2. Taconic then took the lead when Shane Tierney set up Kevin Quinto to make it 3-2.

 

South Hadley scored early in the third period to tie it, and that's where it stayed.

 

Taconic (2-6-1) travels to Greenfield on Friday.
