Taconic Golfers Down Lee

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Mitch Hall carded a 1-over-par round of 36 on Monday to tie for medalist honors and lead the Taconic golf team to a 165-175 win over Lee at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

 

Hall birdied the par-5 second hole to highlight his round, which tied with Lee’s Joey Abderhalden for low on the day.

 

Simon Mele birided the fourth hole for the Thunder.

 

“Officially fall and the fall weather was felt out at Berkshire Hills today,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “Much colder than it has been, but we still defended our home turf well.”

 

The Wildcats got a birdie from David Carlino on the par-5 fourth hole.

 

Lee goes to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday.

 

Taconic (5-4) goes to Wahconah on Tuesday.
