Chicopee Comp Downs Taconic Icers

HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Chicopee Comp took a 5-1 lead after two periods and skated off with a 5-2 win over Taconic on Friday evening at the Chicopee Winter Classic.

 

Connor Conant scored both Taconic goals.

 

Harrison Rapant had an assist on each of Conant's goals, and Andy Cella added an assist on the the third-period tally.

 

Taconic will play West Springfield on Saturday afternoon the consolation round after the Terriers lost to Chicopee, 5-1, on Friday.
