Taconic Hockey Falls in State Tourney

BOURNE, Mass. – Chris Cardillo scored two goals and assisted on another Thursday to lead the Sandwich hockey team to a 6-2 win over Taconic in the first round of the Division 4 State Tournament.

 

Fourth-seeded Sandwich (18-4-1) moves on to face Gardner (15-6) in the tournament’s Round of 16.

 

Taconic, which captured the Western Massachusetts Class B title over the weekend, finishes the season at 8-9-3.
