Taconic Relay Clinches Narrow Win Over Mount Anthony

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Taconic’s 400-meter freestyle relay team took first place by fewer than two seconds Monday to secure a 79-68 win over Mount Anthony at the Berkshire Family YMCA.

 

Jack Bradway, Tyler Hynes-Drumm, Anthony Trapani and Scott Langlois teamed up to swim a time of 4 minutes, 51.42 seconds and edge the Patriots for the meet-clinching win.

 

Scott Langlois won two events for the Thunder, taking first in the 50-meter freestyle and 100 breaststroke.

 

Mount Anthony’s girls won, 98-37, in a meet that saw the Patriots win four uncontested events.

 

Taconic’s girls won the medley relay, the only contested relay, and got two individual wins from Mia Zuccalo, who won the 50 free and 100 breaststroke.

 

Taconic goes to the Boys and Girls Club to swim against Pittsfield on Friday.
