PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Taconic High sophomore Mitch Hall carded a 6-over-par 41 on Thursday to lead the Pittsfield-Taconic cooperative golf team to a 173-180 win over Lenox at Berkshire Hills Country Club.

Lenox’s Max Shepardson birdied the par-5 fourth hole and the par-4 eighth on his way to a 1-over 36 to earn medalist honors.

Taconic ended the day with four golfers in the 40s to earn the win as Jason Fields (42), Cam LaFerriere (44) and Cam Harrington (46) each contributed to the team score.

“Another win, with another different lineup,” Taconic coach Matt Capeless said. “We protected our home course and we have had four different lineups for each of our four matches to start the season. A little bit windy today out at Berkshire Hills, but we were able to play through it and pull out a win.”

Taconic (4-0) goes to Mount Greylock on Monday.
