McNeice Serves Thunder to 2-0 Start

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Brenna McNeice served up nine aces Friday to lead the Taconic volleyball team to another three-set win, this time over Ware.

 

McNeice also had 11 assists and five digs to fill the stat sheet in a 25-18, 25-18, 25-20 win.

 

“The Taconic volleyball team is off to its best start in a really long time,” coach Lance Fyfe said.

 

“We kept the pressure on Ware all night and remained in control the whole way through.”

 

Ciana Bennett had seven digs and nine serve receives. Nyashia Daniels recorded five aces and four kills, and Natalia Dos Santos had four aces, three digs and a pair of kills.

 

Taconic (2-0) hosts Monument Mountain on Monday.
