Smith Vocational Edges Taconic Volleyball

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. -- Brenna McNeice had a triple double for Taconic Thursday in a five-set loss at Smith Vocational.

 

McNeice had 12 kills, 17 digs and 23 assists to go with seven aces in the loss.

 

Taconic nearly overcame the absence of starter Nyashia Daniels, who was unavailable with an injury, and Payton Ramella, who recorded five digs on Thursday, saw her night end early due to an injury.

 

Ciana Bennett had 24 digs and a pair of kills.

 

Naomi Tayi had 14 kills, and Taconic got double-digit digs from Ruby Robertson (13), Alanna Petricca (11) and Natalia Dos Santos (11).

 

Navaeh Williams had seven kills, five assists and four digs.
