Duhamel Leads Taconic Bowlers to 3-0 Win
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Taconic's Mya Duhamel Friday led her team to a 3-0 win over Mount Everett in the Berkshire County High School Bowling League.
Duahmel recorded the top game, 245, and top series, 387, among all bowlers at Ken's Bowl.
Taconic also got a 175 game and a 316 series from Jordan Cowhey as it improved to 8-4 on the season and moved into fourth place in the nine-teame league.
Tucker Wilkinson led the Eagles with a 178 game.
At the top of the standings, Drury earned a 3-0 win over Wahconah Grey to take over sole possession of first place.
Olivia Mazzacco and Michael Oakes led the Blue Devils to victory. Mazzacco rolled a 212 game and a 379 series. Oakes posted a 191 game, and his 353 series tied for the best among the boys on the day. Mazzacco's series was the second best of the day.
Pittsfield, which started the day tied with Drury, went 1-2 in its match against the Wahconah Blue.
Cody Doyle's 353 series (154-199) tied for the best of the week among the boys and led the Wahconah Blue squad. Elliot Tribble and Alex White were right behind Doyle with series of 347 and 346, respectively.
Pittsfield was led by Colby Rooney, who rolled a 211 game and 352 series that was third among the boys on Friday.
Lee posted a 3-0 victory over Mount Greylock in the day's fourth match.
Adam Dingman led the way for the Wildcats with a 199 game in the opener and sat out the second game. Bella Kotek had Lee's top series, a consistent 173-173--346 that gave her the third best series among girls this week.
Mount Greylock was led by Troy Michalak (135-146-281).
McCann Tech had a bye on Friday.
The league is back in action on Friday at Ken's.
