Taconic Golfers Compete at D1 Western Mass Meet

GRANBY, Mass. -- Taconic's Connor Champoux Monday carded an 85 to tie for 12th place at the Western Massachusetts Division 1 golf championships at the Westover Municipal Golf Course.

 

Taconic placed seventh in the eight-team field with a score of 374. Agawam claimed the D1 sectional title with a 332.

 

Backing up Champoux were Nate Murphy (93), Seamus Hayes (96) and Andrew King (44).

 

Medalist honors went to Minnechaug's Peter Wurszt, who carded a 3-over-par round of 75.
