Ivas, Hall Lead Taconic Girls Swimming at New Lebanon

NEW LEBANON, N.Y. -- Caitlin Hall and Delaney Ivas each won two events Friday to lead the Taconic girls swimming team to a 55-39 win over New Lebanon.

 

Hall won the 200-yard freestyle in 2 minutes, 14.63 seconds, and the 100 free in 1:00.87.

 

Ivas picked up back-to-back wins in the 50 free (28.10) and 100 butterfly (1:10.84).

 

For New Lebanon, Gigi French won the 100 breaststroke (1:21.27) and the 500 free (6:37.65).

 

In the boys meet, New Lebanon prevailed, 34-8.

 

Jeffrey Miller won the meet’s only two contested races for New Lebanon.

 

In the 50 free, he touched in 26.86. He won the 100 free in 59.74.
